We have recruitment offices in the UK, Hong Kong, and now in Toronto for the specific purpose of assisting all those interested in these opportunities. We provide a free, end-to-end service for potential teachers, and because of our global offices we are available 24/7.

China

With its huge diversity, China is the ‘go-to’ destination of those who would like to teach while enjoying adventure, making friendships and taking a pathway to inspire themselves and those they teach! Many that go to China “for a while, to earn and travel” stay on indefinitely because of the highly enjoyable lifestyle—great weather, culture and travel opportunities.

Our jobs in China are for qualified teachers to work in private schools, or for graduates with no or little teaching experience or qualifications to work in language schools and centres. We can support you in developing your qualifications such as a TEFL course. Our consultants can help you select the best course trainer.

Please forward this China information to teachers and recent graduates ready for adventure and remember that a group of you can go together.

Teachers in China enjoy great public respect. A survey conducted across 21 major countries says teachers in China are “revered.” Children are very well brought up to be courteous and respectful, making life teaching a joy. With booming affluence, the country is changing to one of cleaner and tidy cities with high quality and immaculate schools and classrooms. Living spaces in apartments have extremely high standards at very low prices compared to other countries.

The Middle East

In the Middle East, particularly the UAE, thousands of positions are available in state, private and international schools. For teachers with 2-3 years’ experience, TAX FREE salaries start at CA$84,000, to teach regular subjects. Now opportunities exist for graduates without teaching experience that hold degrees in English, Modern Languages, Linguistics, Sports/PE, Health Science and Computer Science. There is a 2-year graduate teacher training programme where the total tax-free salary in the first year is CA$64,000, CA$72,000 in the second year and CA$84,000 in the third year. You will have the opportunity to obtain a full teaching qualification recognised internationally.

Regardless of experience, teachers receive:

  • Return airfare
  • Medical insurance
  • End of contract bonus
  • Visa sponsorship
  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Accommodation provided by private schools

The UAE’s Ministry of Education is leading an educational reform program, with a developing curriculum taught in English. Resources and lesson plans are provided. Experienced teachers get the opportunity to make meaningful impact on the largest educational reform in the world. Opportunities for non-teachers are now part of the project—we are looking for graduates who have any of the following as one of your main subjects—English, PE or Sports, Health or Computer Science/IT, to take their first step into international education.
