Teaching Through Books Pt 2: Refugee Voices

Students will explore themes of identity, belonging, and displacement by learning about the experiences of refugees. Through discussions, reflection, and creative expression, they will examine the role of names, places, and personal histories in shaping identity and fostering inclusive communities. Recommended for elementary with adaptations for middle school.
