Oscar Peterson: When Music Meets Science

Students will learn about the cardiovascular, nervous, and respiratory systems, as well as the concept of resiliency. They will learn about the causes, prognosis, and challenges of having a stroke. Students will learn about the life and resilience of Oscar Peterson. They will learn to hypothesize and attempt to diagnose issues within the human body. Students will learn to use a variety of research techniques, prior knowledge, and questions to deepen their comprehension. Through the inquiry process, they will learn to develop a connection to both their community and themselves. This package includes: a lesson plan, rubric, case study, and 5 worksheets. Recommended for high school.
