Bonanza Creek: Perspectives and People

Students will analyze and interpret both first- and second-hand accounts to gather information about the various individuals and their roles in the discovery of gold at Bonanza Creek. They will compare and contrast documents by demonstrating an understanding of the similarities and differences in multiple accounts of the same historical event. Students will communicate how point of view and perspective influence the way events are described. Recommended for Middle School.
