Sports, Self-Image, and Identity Lesson Plan

In this lesson plan, students will learn how hockey has shaped Canadian identity and culture while examining whose stories are often centred or excluded. They will explore the experiences of racialized players, including Willie O’Ree, and investigate initiatives aimed at making the sport more inclusive and representative of all Canadians.
